Premium Produce
Reliable winter rainfall provides lush green fields for local sheep, deer and dairy cows to graze on for succulent paddock to plate dishes, farm-fresh artisanal cheese and other products.
Our Mediterranean climate is also perfect for producing flavoursome olives, avocados and of course the premium grapes for the production of fine wine.
There’s also plenty of farm-fresh fruit and vegetables, locally caught seafood, free-range eggs and wood-fired bread to purchase from local farmers’ markets.
With a wealth of wildflowers blooming in the region, there’s naturally a bountiful supply of honey. Other locally made sweet treats include artisanal chocolates, ice cream, confectionary and pastries.
