Inspired Art
Just as the region’s Mediterranean climate, geography and ancient soils has attracted world-renowned winemakers, the area’s awe-inspiring beauty has also enticed acclaimed artists who live and work here. Unique masterpieces crafted by local award-winning artisans are often stunning expressions of the region in which they are made.
The Saltwater Gallery will showcase exciting, rotating exhibitions of local, national and international art. Across the road at the Old Courthouse Complex, the Gallery Store presents a meticulously curated collection of local art by more than 50 South West artisans.
Crafted in a myriad of mediums, the beautiful works displayed in this historic building have been selected as inspired expressions of the environment in which they originated. From Georgia Zoric’s ceramic windswept characters peering through portholes and Anton Blume’s captivating coastal aerial images to Emiley Rose’s ocean-inspired resin platters, Western Australia’s maritime history and spectacular coastline is celebrated here.
