Major Construction Milestones Reached
Saltwater’s Name in Lights
Saltwater Busselton has reached a major milestone with installation of the signature exterior sign, marking completion of the impressive façade and setting the stage for the venue’s highly anticipated opening in 2026.
Internally, there have been significant advancements on Saltwater’s fit-out. The stunning travertine flooring has been laid in the Ground Floor lobby, and the timber feature staircase is nearing completion. Decorative screens are now in place around the internal balconies on Levels 1 and 2. Installation of theatre and audio-visual equipment is progressing steadily throughout the venue, with a particular focus on the Auditorium. The contractor is finalising services and most of the front of house light fittings and speakers are now in place. In the Conference Suite, timber finishing is now complete and finishing touches are in progress. Saltwater Gallery’s timber flooring has been installed and inspections are underway in this space.
RFQs have now closed for the supply of conference furniture, hospitality items, internal wayfinding signage, catering services and beverage supplies.
The venue has secured a wide range of bookings, with over 200 event days locked in for 2026 and into 2027.
We look forward to announcing the official opening date for Saltwater upon completion of the final fit-out.
