Major Construction Milestones Achieved at Saltwater Busselton

Set to open in early 2026, exciting progress has been made at Saltwater Busselton.

The exterior is virtually complete, with the remaining glazed units to be installed next week, and a few finishing touches to be finalised.

Internally, substantial advancements have been made with Saltwater’s fit-out. A major milestone was recently achieved, with installation of auditorium seating and the stage floor. Acoustic panelling in this space is also nearing completion.

The contractor is currently focusing on finalising services, with final cable termination and initial testing underway. The vast majority of light fittings and speakers are fitted and ready for powering up, and the mechanical and hydraulic systems are also nearing the commissioning stage.

Conference Suite timber finishing is almost complete, and the Rehearsal Room’s sprung floor is now in place.

Installation of ceilings across the venue is virtually complete and final coats of paint have been applied to key spaces, such as the Saltwater Gallery and Conference Suite.

Fit-out works to the main staircase, kitchen, and bar areas have advanced significantly, with all catering equipment now installed and ready for commissioning.

Landscaping to the courtyards and Queen Street is set to commence in the coming weeks, with the project team will conduct defect inspections shortly.
