Saltwater Gallery to Enhance Busselton’s Cultural Landscape
The City of Busselton is poised to become a premier destination for top-tier art exhibitions when Saltwater’s new A-Class art gallery opens in 2026.
Building on the legacy of the former ArtGeo Gallery, this exciting new addition to the Busselton Cultural Precinct promises to enhance the City’s cultural landscape by presenting an exceptionally diverse array of ever-changing regional and touring national art exhibitions.
Free to enter, the Saltwater Gallery will offer an immersive experience for art aficionados to admire and purchase a wide variety of works.
This stylish gallery features advanced lighting, a black box studio space to present audio-visual works and movable walls for flexible configuration of exhibitions, making it a dynamic and sophisticated venue to display a wide variety of artistic mediums. To accommodate larger exhibitions and events, the gallery’s large doors can open into the expansive ground floor foyer.
The Saltwater Gallery has been designed as an elegant and secure space, equipped with state-of-the-art security systems and climate controls to protect works to the highest level in order to showcase touring exhibitions of fragile artefacts for the first time in Busselton’s history.
This new, purpose-built gallery will be a significant investment in the visual arts for the entire region, connecting people through culture and creativity, which will contribute to the wellbeing of the community.
