Join local textile artist and exhibition participant Barbara Weeks for a welcoming morning of creativity, conversation and inspiration as part of our touring quilt exhibition.

Bring along your own portable textile project – whether it's quilting, knitting, crochet, embroidery, hand stitching, visible mending or another fibre craft – and enjoy creating in the unique atmosphere of the gallery. There is no formal workshop; instead, Barbara will host the gathering, share stories from her own textile practice, and encourage conversation inspired by the exhibition.

Take time to enjoy a cup of tea, meet fellow makers, exchange ideas and immerse yourself in the rich traditions and contemporary practices of textile art.

Whether you're an experienced maker or simply enjoy stitching with others, everyone is welcome.
